  • RUN RULE 01

Keep score on paper. One line per question, marked as you go.

  • RUN RULE 02

Tally by section during the run, not at the end.

  • PASS LINE · NASAA

92 of 130 scored items is a pass.

  • BENCHMARK · BANCLYT

110 or better means book it.

Pacing

Speed is a separate skill from knowledge.

Real exam allowance
180 minutes ÷ 140 items = 77 seconds per item

You can know an answer and still lose the item. Fifteen seconds is not enough time to reason from scratch, so the drill only measures one thing: whether the answer is automatic yet. Miss it at 15 seconds and you have found something you have not finished learning, even if you would have got it eventually.

The drills overshoot deliberately. Training at five times the pace you will actually be given buys back the seconds you spend second-guessing on test day, and second-guessing is what turns a known item into a lost one.

The 10 pretest items are scattered at random and unlabelled. You cannot tell which they are, so every item gets answered as if it counts.

NASAA content outline

Which section is sinking you?

Tally a run by section and the answer is arithmetic. A section carrying 39 questions and a 30% weight costs you the pass faster than one carrying 20.

Weights and question counts are NASAA’s published outline. One Study Guide covers each area end to end, and the four together cover the whole outline. There is also a 10-minute cheat sheet ↗ of the formulas, traps and numbers that keep costing people items.

Free scorecard

A printable sheet for scoring a 130-question run.

One page. 130 numbered lines grouped by the four NASAA areas, with the 92 and 110 lines marked, so at the end of a drill you can see where you landed and which area took it from you without doing the arithmetic.

  • 01130 lines, grouped by section
  • 02Per-section totals against the NASAA weights
  • 03The 92 and 110 lines printed on the page

The PDF arrives immediately. After that, one email when a new simulation is published — roughly monthly.
